Illustration from the collection of short stories 24 histoires du Père Noël (Editions Lito, 2023) for which I illustrated three of the short stories. This one tells the adventures of Father Christmas as he selects the animals that will pull his sleigh. It took some laborious trials before he finally settled on the reindeers.
